Suzanne Sunshower was born into a semi-typical, middle-class,
1950s/60s family in Detroit, Michigan; and moved out of that family
at age fourteen.  A writer and artist from childhood, she took to the
open road in the 1970s as a free, creative spirit of her times.  Offered a
full merit scholarship to university, she entered college as an honors
student in Psychology/Pre-Med, earning undergrad degrees in
Psychology and Political Science from Wayne State University in
Detroit, where she spent her post-grad and graduate time as well.  In
motion since adolescence, she has lived in many towns, in at least six
U.S. States, and on three continents.  She is listed in
Who's Who of
American Women
as an independent feminist journalist/poet/artist.
