Due out Nov. 2014: Memory Echo Words, the 2014 Scurfpea Publishing anthology, features two brand
new poems of mine.
Another 2014 release, Still Here (U. of South Dakota/VLP), includes two poems of mine written in
memory of the Detroit artist Robin Sommers.
Four of my poems are featured in the 2013 anthology Reckless Writing, from Chatter House Press.
My chapter "Billie Jean King" is included in 100 People Who Changed American Entertainment: An
Encyclopedia of Pop Culture Stars and Their Stories, from ABC-CLIO (2013).
How Can You Say We Are Not Related? (Scurfpea Publishing), a poetry anthology I edited, was
released in September 2012. Copies can be ordered through Amazon or Scurfpea.
I am pleased to announce that my first full length collection of poetry, Stop Film, is re-entering the
final stages of completion. A couple poems from this project appeared in the 2011 (released 2012)
edition of Aunt Chloe, while several more appeared in other 2012 publications. I hope to share more
news from this project in the coming months.
While my memoir Living on Detroit Time: Life in the Motor City Fast Lane is under construction, I
have been publishing a few stand-alone chapters.
"Poetry Around Town" (readings at public spaces around Detroit) was filmed for Ann Arbor cable TV.
